the living room which has white carpet. I'm trying to decide on the color to paint my walls. They must flow together well with the living room and kitchen. I decorate now with sages, tans, and burgundys. I seem to like the french, old world, italian, roman, decor peices. What color should I paint the walls? and What colors should I do the windows in the living room?
Your help is greatly appreciated

Here are links to the living room and kitchen, the floor has been replaced in the kitchen like I mentioned it has cherry wood floors now and the sitting chair in the living room is now a dark brown leather recliner.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think the color "smoky salmon" (# 6331) would look stunning with the burgundy & sage.

I would go with an elephant skin color on the walls in the living room with burgandy draperies. I would also anchor that room with an old world rug so the furniture does not appear that it is floating (some great designs to match your decor on homedecorators.com website). I would do a faux finish in the kitchen using the elephant skin color as a base, but making the wall look like old stucco.

looks tough, cause it seems like a very dark room into a light room
